Gallipoli Tour

We can offer you a tour with various different possibilities in and around Gallipoli (Turkey) either before or after your visit to Flanders Fields, a place where many New Zealand people have also decided to settle down and enjoy life.

We have summarised one of the possible trips below, but you know it's our intention to compile a unique programme together with you ...

Day 1

Arrival in Istanbul where your chauffeur awaits you at the airport. We will take you to the hotel of your choice, where you can check in at your leisure and perhaps take some time to explore your surroundings.

Day 2

You will explore Istanbul with your guide.

Some of the highlights will include:

• Topkapi Palace
• Hippodrome
• the Blue Mosque
• the Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque next to the Spice Bazaar and much much more.

You are free to further explore the town by yourself during the afternoon, or you also have the option of experiencing a river cruise on the Bosporus.

Day 3

We will leave for Galipolli in the morning, where we will arrive shortly after midday.

We will visit:

• Kabatepe War Museum
• Anzac Cove
• Ari Burnu
• Beach Cemetery
• Unknown Soldier Monument
• Lone Pine Australia's Memorial and Cemetery

We will be spending the night in Anzac Cove.

Day 4

We will continue our voyage of discovery and visit:

• Quinns Post
• Turkish 57th regiment Memorial
• The Nek
• the original tunnels and trenches at Johnston Jolly (Turkish and Allied) and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial and Cemetery

We will leave for Istanbul again late in the afternoon, where we will check in again.

Day 5

There are various different options: your can extend your visit in Istanbul, or if you would rather take some time out to relax, then we can suggest a beautiful all inclusive hotel in Kusadasi, where sun, sea and sand are central focus points.

It goes without saying that we can produce various different formulas for you if you would like to further explore Turkey.
